The mission of the Houston Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee is to train and educate electrical and telecommunications workers and to provide the Electrical Construction Industry with the most highly trained and highly skilled workforce possible. The Electrical Training Center is operated as a non-profit organization and is registered as an Apprenticeship Training Program with the United States Department of Labor. |

Through on-the-job training and classroom study, the JATC produces a “win-win” situation for both the contractor and the worker. The contractor benefits from having a highly-skilled workforce that can be relied upon to efficiently produce high-quality work on the jobsite. The worker benefits from acquiring valuable skills and knowledge which he or she can depend upon to enjoy good wages and benefits for the future. |
